I called you out as a leg humper because you are, all you have to do is go in some of the threads you chimed in especially on another website where your king and queen and all you do is shit stir and don't add anything valuable to any conversation and all you trying to do is get a rise.

Where did I say ALL metals, we are talking about this issue and the materials that are used in this kit or do I have to spell it out for people like yourself as you don't seem to grasp how threads work.

Everything I said has come true thus far when it comes to this kit, I even done one step further as I listed all my comments easy for you to find.

I've tried to help this community and have a number of projects going to help it and not just make money of it but you just made it nice and clear for me, its not worth it and I wont be
finishing the write up on them but only to use on my own projects.

Marty, when you say things like, “it doesn't matter how strong the metal is as eventually it will crack.” you are implying ALL metals. You also clearly do not understand what a leg humper is. It’s nut hugger, a brand loyalist, someone who doesn’t believe any product is good unless it comes from brand X and/or that everything that comes from brand X is amazing. If you want to go through my post history on the 3 sites I’ve been on for the past decade, you’ll need to search a few other usernames too. I’d list them, but honestly, I don’t remember them all. But hey, you do you and keep believing that everything you do is fantastic and perfect, because no one else will ever be as psyched about your accomplishments as you. And if you’re a confident adult, that’s all you should need.

Here you go putting words into my mouth again, LOL

I know exactly what I was saying and what you think I'm implying well that's interpretation on your account and nothing else because I dint bother wasting my time elaborating to
a shit stirrer as that's all you do.

Again you imply I believe everything I do is fantastic and perfect, thats your interpretation as I never ever implied that.

Shit stirring is you specialty and I'm not implying that just stating fact.

BYE.

Your response to V8bait sharing his setup says otherwise.

“It's not just your every day run of the mill catch can.

This is a production sample for testing purposes.”

You basically put his catch can design down and declared yours as superior when he was just trying to share some info. You do you though Marty.

No again putting words into my mouth and misinterpreting and putting your spin on it to suit your statement.

Where his works vta only mine is vta and vacuum where it helps with ring seal.

Totally different catch cans that cant even be compared as they work totally different.

Keep trying to stir that pot.

I appreciate your response and clarification. That was nice and well worded and leaves no room for misinterpretation. 👍

Will be replacing my HPFP soon and was planning to purchase/install the Helix at the same time. After reading about the collateral damage, what sounds like fueling issues (VTT describes) and the design changes/fixes (billet plate and bracket) to support the product it makes me second guess purchasing/installing until this is fully sorted. What am I missing?

That’s where I stand as well. If everything gets sorted out so it will be worry free, I’ll be interested in purchasing.

You’re not missing anything. Wait until it is sorted out. That’s what I am doing. Til then, I will run the amount of boost the stock fuel system will support.

Something that I am concerned about but it hasn't been raised as an issue as yet and hopefully, isn't an issue, is the extra load that the Helix unit puts on the drive chain and components especially the wear strips. I would imagine if there was an issue in this area, it would take sometime for it to raise its head.

This is post from a shop that made bracket to hold OD pump. They made one for my N55 and now I have 0 vibration from OD pump and it feels good. I think it’s a great solution.

Did you notice vibration before? Has noise reduced?
Just place your finger on OD pump and ask someone to rev the engine to like 3000-3200rpm and you’ll be surprised how much vibration it makes. After bracket the vibration goes away. Chattering noise is the same but there is tuning solution for that.

That's a relief, about the bracket. I've read a couple posts about the tuning solution but it hasn't really come to light.

Amazing how this stuff is like rocket science that only God's can solve. Glad you are well on your way!

i imagine the vibrations can be reduced if the internal gearbox assembly of the OD is balanced but it will definitely add to the cost...

its not exactly rocket science...just takes lots and lots and lots of time to learn... with a horribly steep learning curve....
once you get to know the basics, it still takes lots and lots and lots of time to figure stuff out...

I don’t think he was talking about the gear set design and more so a dig at Marty for acting like solving the vibration issue was going to be a huge ordeal that only he is capable of solving.

I think I'm going to do some testing with 3D printing a bracket from a nylon polymer since I think AL6061 might be too rigid. We just need it rigid enough to keep the oscillation at a minimum and plastic enough to dampen any unwanted resonance to the block and quiet it down a bit in general. I already have the tuning fix for the startup noise so, in theory, this will only help any operational noise issues. The material I'm looking at has a glass transition temp of 220F so I think I'm going to start there.
