I find the table fascinating. It was previously said that the M3 DSC was much simpler than the non m in its implementation but the GTS DSC looks to have more in common with Non M than other M DSCs (actual calibration values differ)
That might mean we can just use straight up GTS values in Non M and be done with it.
I don't think I've tried coding my 335is ZB with full M3 coding, but I guess could. All it takes is a firmware difference to make 1 bit do something different and something might not work.

If it does though, could just set VO and default code to skip the piece by piece stuff.

@JohnDaviz itd be really cool if once you’ve tried it you can report back on how much difference it made
Does your car have an lsd and if so have you switched off all of the other Nannie’s in the DSC ?

I am also pretty excited if this works. That would be pretty much perfect for me.

No LSD yet. Planned for next year as i sold my soul for an upcoming engine build.

I hope i will be able to test it properly soon. I will report back.

Do either of these MUE_0/MUE_1_2 parameters alter the amount of wheel spin allowed when DSC is active or are they just oversteer related?

One of the big annoyances for me in the 335i is just how severe the power reduction is when the wheels start to spin and also how quickly it intervenes. By default the Z4 has much more leeway.

I'll take a look at the coding options in ProTool and see if there are any config options that I can test. I think ProTool lets you pick a custom value too which I assume is the same as Nettodat coding.

ProTool is just another way to do it without all the work.

There must in there somewhere, but it's not out in the open and I've never run across anyone posting about found addresses/custom keywords for it. I think that's why everyone is itching for MDM.

These are the options in ProTool. There's some more for DCC but I didn't bother with those.

I can't see any options like MUE.

That almost looks like they specifically omitted it, a lot of the other stuff is in there. Bust out NCS Expert and Dummy.

I wasn´t testing but at least i could read my car with NCS

So apparently i have the MK60_87.C0F

My UEBERSTEUERN_MUE_0 is Wert 07 with Data 247 and i know shit what that means :D
My UEBERSTEUERN_MUE_1_2 actually is on Wert 07 which is the 1.781 m/s squared

So i think a) i need/want in MUE_0 actually the data from the M3 which is behind that Wert used on M3Post i guess

And i think there is more to do to get to the result the guy on M3 Post reported

I found the following data interesting:

GMR_MAX_LIMIT_SCHRAEG
GMR_MIN_LIMIT_SCHRAEG

schräg is asalant but here in germany you can use this word for sideways also.

I can´t choose here as on the M3 DSC. There is only one wert.

and

GMK_ECBA_VA - YAW MOMENT COMPENSATION.....
GMK_ECBA_HA - YAW MOMENT COMPENSATION....

VA = VorderAchse = front axle
HA = HinterAchse = rear axle

Here if have:
VA Wert 06 = 9mm
HA Wert 03 = 6mm

What is really interesting. In that menu you can choose Wert 0 with both 0mm and the description says E92 + S65B40

So i think... i need somebody who can direct me to a tutorial or teach me how i set

UEBERSTEUERN_MUE_0
GMR_MAX_LIMIT_SCHRAEG
GMR_MIN_LIMIT_SCHRAEG

to the settings from the M3 DSC.

Then i would go and look for a huge place to test. Ideally that huge place has one huge street lamp i can finally hit.

I thought MK60 was the old unit from the E46. Shouldn't all E89 platform cars be DSC90? Or are early cars using MK60 and later ones using DSC90?

when checking the modules with INPA it says DSC90 but reading the module with NCS it says MK60

NCS Dummy has options for both but only the MK60 has the options we are looking for. Maybe it's related to the software running on it. Have you flashed your car with the M3 DSC?

Almost all of the DSC daten files are named MK60_. There's _87, _M3 and _M82. When you read in Expert, just note the daten file (*.c0?) it uses. Mine is also MK60_87.C0F.

I’ll see if I can find some time on the weekend to fiddle

Did you find any time?

@carabuser @RSL

If i want to know what information in the M3 DSC is behind
UEBERSTEUERN_MUE_0
GMR_MAX_LIMIT_SCHRAEG
GMR_MIN_LIMIT_SCHRAEG

I need to flash it myself so that i can retrieve the data which i then could input into my non m dsc?

No sorry John. Restrictions have eased here and the significant other has plans for me lol. I don’t think you need to flash to see the data I believe you can examine the datum in dummy?!

Yes, you can look at wert values in daten files defined for other cars/models in dummy to get an idea.

okay.

So i have the M3 DSC and mine open side by side.

For schraeg i looked up the address mentioned by RSL
dsc_values-png.png

on min i have the same as the M3
1636098402974.png

but for max i have 01 while the M3 has 03
1636098435033.png

Soooo i guess i have to learn nettodat coding?!

For uebersteuern i see that on the non M DSC Wert 08 seems to be similar data to the Non US M3 GTS:

There are several ways to change coding values, all relatively easy. Essentially read out the module, alter the data in dummy or text editor, save and write back.
