It’s alive!! Already taken it on its first drive and it was great. The turbo responds even better than my MMPs did. Just need the weather to warm up a bit more and for the summer E85 to hit the pump so I can work on the tune.

Been putting a few break in and testing miles on everything over the past couple days. No major issues so far over the past 60 miles. Waiting for summer E85 to get into the pump up here so I can start logging.

Got about 150 miles on the ST kit currently. Had one issue where I forgot to adjust the FPR set screw and pressure was too low. That was an easy fix. And now I’m seeming to have an issue with the boost target. I’m using a JB4 with BEF and the car runs and drives just fine till I try to get into boost. I haven’t done anything over 1/2 throttle yet because of it. Using the most current ST firmware on the JB4. No matter what map target stays at 0. Did a full reflash of the car yesterday and reinstalled the firmware. But I finally got it washed while I was out testing and it’s looking better at least.

And the oil cooler is working great. Staying right at 180 after a few hours of driving.

On another note, the CPF shirts came in today and are available for sale on the site if you want one.

Any updates? Been able to go WOT yet? I'll ship you some summer blend E85 to see thing rip!

180 temps are nice--does it take longer to get up to temp? Daily driving my ST I usually sit right around 220 when cruising, gets up a little higher in traffic or when I'm beating on it a bit, but still better than when I had twins.

Been playing with the car this past week. Had some issues hitting boost over 3500 RPM so I built a hot side pressure tester and found a pin hole in one of the runners. My stupid fault for not pressure testing fully before installation. So I pulled the manifold and built a bench testing system and welded the pin hole. Just started it back up and everything seems just fine. I’ll go out tomorrow for a few test logs and report back. Also going to redo the exhaust on the catch cans with AN lines and run it along the trans tunnel.

I've been trying to find something that will plug my ADE intake pipe.

On your turbo inlet use a silicone coupler to a PVC cap(hardware store) then tap and drill for a bicycle style valve or a pneumatic fitting or both. Adding on a pressure gauge like above is a good idea too. Make sure to put RTV on the threads and on both sides of the fittings etc. A couple clamps and you should be able to pressurize the system once the RTV dries. Then get out your soapy waster in a spray bottle and start looking for bubbles.

Why the hell do you want to get a Corvette? You just get in and turn the key for all that performance. What's the fun in that?! :tonguewink:

If I wasn’t working all the time and could work on the BMW I’d probably keep it. But between the shop and my other full time job the BMW just stays parked. I want something I can drive on the street and have fun with. The BMW is an unbelievable track car but with the clutch and everything needed to make it work at that power level it sucks as a street car now.

Not exactly the best thing to say if you want to target a DD buyer lol

To be honest, I doubt a DD buyer will be spending $25k. And everyone up here knows I’ll be 100% upfront with you and I’m not gonna BS you about saying a car built for 1000 WHP is a DD. Maybe a vette or mustang or something but not a 135i. This is for sure a race car. The tires don’t stick to the road on WOT. The clutch is a bitch. It’s built for one thing. Just to go as fast as fucking possible as quickly as you can. That is it.
