thought doc race manifold was a no fan kit.

Not sure what you mean by no fan, but the only one I've seen installed was a bulky hulk of metal which they have since revised. I do not know what their current design is like, perhaps sheet metal or cast.

Autocorrect... Meant to say no fabrication kit. Looks like it will come with necessary charge piping and connections.

I'm not real sure how they could do that feasibly. There are many different intercooler and engine bay setups that make that complicated. Props to them if they do and will account for those things though. For example, my FMIC has a 3" up pipe. Some are not 3" and do not have an up pipe, some people have the coolant tank on that side, etc

Regardless, you've got to relocate the throttle body and the fuel tank vent hose thingy, so there is a little extra work i'd suspect. It sure does look good though.

Im using the MMP PI kit. On day 3 of testing it blew out the port 5,6 gaskets. I used some permatex
Prior to install and torqued to spec. Ive since removed and this time let the permatex “set up” and grip gasket a little better. Longer oem material stud bolts would make install easier and safer, rather then long bolts. This would avoid dielectric corrosion, cross threading female bore/ alignment, then removal of old studs and balancing 12 gasket sealed edges was more difficult then it needed to be.also no washers were included.

These extended studs are included with all new Black Market PI kits. They are also available to everyone else for 39.99 for a set of 7 with nut. Oh by the way, these are stainless steel and use the same E-Torx head as oem. They will be live on our website this week.

Nice! I'm gonna have to upgrade my MMP unit...

BMP's kit comes with legit Bosch injectors and uses OEM manifold gaskets. MMP does not use genuine injectors, and has thin manifold gaskets that are hard to seat and can't be bought easily. Fuel-It is a quality, proven kit.

True the MMP injectors aren't that great, but they work. I'm going to be upgrading to ID850s or 1000s when I go ST.

Mauricio gave me the link for the gaskets, I got them the next day. Put some silicone or dielectric grease on them and they'll stay, I've pushed 30+ psi and never touched the manifold / plate again after bolting it down.

The performance aspect of it worked great. Meaning it got the job done. With jb4 bias set to 50 curve. The first runs had afr at 10.3 at 30psi with MMP stage 3 turbos. I still have charge pipe methanol hooked up.

I bought the MMP because of the price. When I got it, I didn't like the bolts or the gaskets. I was very skeptical. I did some research and read the horror stories. I ended up selling it to someone else. I didnt want the hassle.
