Is there a way to disable the PID timeout mechanism?

I am getting the wgdc base table sorted but sometimes the PID timeout is just way too aggressive.

How about increasing WGDC Base or more Adder? Never ran into that issue tbh

Doesn't look like a timeout, more like an error in the boost control disabling the PID adder.

Timeout occurs after 0.7seconds of being more than 1.45psi away from target and there is no significant change in the boost during that time. So during spool for example, the timer will not start as the boost value will be changing.

Looking at the logs though your base is way off. You should just zero out the PID and get the base tuned first.

My question remains:
