Good find. Will you be modifying your manifold to fit Gen5 gates? Or just not offer the Gen5 gate?

I don't think many of the current kits with the Gen5 will likely see any issues, as there should be enough clearance to function properly, but there is a tolerance stack to this, so to be sure, I'll give the few guys (most choose the Tial MVR) that have the Turbosmart Gen5 a heads up, and add a machining op to take off just a bit of material to ensure a worst case tol stack will never touch on anything going out (Tial or Turbosmart) from this day forward.

No issues yet. I want to extend the WG dump to exit near the sub frame to lighten any melting worries and for a cleaner sound. I'm waiting for an external dump option from @Jeff@Speedtech before diving in to something custom.

Has anyone had the downpipe or dump tube ceramic coated? I'm would love to wrap it to keep temps down but I'm afraid of the possible stress and corrosion it will cause. I'm ready to install but wondering if I should have my downpipe and dump pipe cerakoted and wait another 2 weeks for the install.

I had the manifold and downpipe ceramic coated and wrapped. I also run a turbo blanket for the hot side as well. Seems to hold up well.

Hey guys! Having big trouble with my Speedtech kit. Running S362.

Issue is bank1 02 going crazy when getting boost, and misfires on bank1 at 6000 rpm. Coils, plugs and injectors are all taken care of.
Running brand new OEM 02s, front and rear. Anyone with similiar issues and soulutions? Anybody running OEM 02 sensors with clean readings?

This happened to me with my CES ST and it was the o2's. I now run with the VTT thermo o2 isolating bungs and haven't had an issue after countless dyno pulls and track days. Running OEM o2's. https://vargasturbo.com/product/vtt-thermo-isolating-o2-bungs/

I deleted my statement above because I just recently got my car dyno tuned and come to realize I have the same issue with bank one. Only under boost my STFT's are unstable and i am having minor lean spike's in bank one. New NTK o2, new index 12's, new NGK 97506 gapped to .020


this is slowly rolling into the throttle showing how it gets worse under boost.

@pysical yeah vtto just sells a copy of the innovative heat sinks.

there are other ways to make an 02 heat sinks (big piece of copper etc.) I dont know of anything thats shorter/shallower that still has the semi closed tip to help with pressure :/

I ´m running OEM O2 sensors (more than 25k miles on it) with no issues so far, but still running on spring pressure.
