hello
here are some pictures of my speedtech kit with precision 6266.
installation and accuracy of fit were perfect. used two days to install.
I have thermally insulated the exhaust housing, wastegate, dumppipe and downpipe to counteract the development of heat.
I drove 4000km since the installation, with ntk o2 .. no problems until now (24psi)
I also installed the 335d tank and welded a custom charge pipe. Here are some pictures.

Hi everybody!

In the process of finalizing the installation of my kit. Ran into a small issue with the wastegate divider on the manifold coming in contact with the WG valve.

Has anybody ever run into this issue? Jeff had suggested shaving down the divider just enough to clear the WG valve. Something with his cast vendor dropping the ball on the tolderances on the manifold.

What lead you to find this issue?

I'm having a really strange issue where after a tuner induced PID timeout my pressure drops below spring pressure. Ambient pressure here is 12.2 PSI, with a tune that has WGDC output disabled she holds 11.8 PSI across the RPM range once spooled. When we turn WGDC on however and let it hit a PID timeout the waste gate does not seem to close all the way and the pressure drops to 7-8 psi. If I get of the gas and get back on it again it will rise back up just fine and be great until PID timeout again. Doesn't matter what RPM, throttle is open at 81%, yet still only 7-8 PSI.

I'm wondering if once hot the hypergate gen V I have is not closing all the way, and the continued boost pressure is holding it open just slightly more than what spring pressure would do because of tight clearance around this same issue as you saw or something.

I've tried putting a check valve on the top port of the waste gate so no vacuum could exist, I've put boost gauges in to make sure my TMAP is not ling to me. I"ve changed the springs in my diverter valves (they are turbo smart as well), I've swapped the MAC valve, I've checked meticulously for exhaust or pressure leaks (she'll even hold 30 PSI if you unplug the waste gate bottom port).

For the life of me I can't get this figured out. I'm about ready to drop the 400 bucks just to try a Tial MVR and see if it fixes it.
