I was browsing through WinOLS and actually looking for something else.

But i found the Table "KF_ATLVSTPDYN"

I tried to translate it from german in the topic title. Does anybody have a clue what this table is used for?

If you look at the the table you can read

Dynamikerkennung fuer Sollladedruck = Dynamic recognition for Targetboost

What made me curious is that above 5k rpm the cells are zeroed out.

So i was wondering if anybody has ever also stumbled across that table or know what it means... Not sure if it has something to do with the PID System

It's an adder for dynamic operation. So when you have a sudden change in boost target this adds to the wastegate target temporarily. I suppose it was added to make the car pick up a bit faster hence the bias at lower revs where spool will be slower.

Dynamic operation is a sudden change in pedal position. So you have dynamic boost and timing and probably fuelling.

Got it.

I wonder if it would make sense to play with the values when bigger turbos are installed.

Do you also have more insight on the dynamic timing and fueling topics?!

I suppose it might improve response. I think getting the pre-control tuned well helps the most so your wastegates are always in the right ballpark when you start to push the car.
