I second that, do you have a website?

I want this clutch. I have several concerns however. You being in the UK leaves me with the liability should something not work right, or should I need warranty work.

We're past the day and age where I can take you on your word, especially with the distance.

Having a website allows me to order with my credit card, which then adds some protection for me should something bad happen.

Our website is still in development. We wanted go give the Forum the opportunity to buy the clutch cheaper than anywhere else via the Group buy and have a few People who write a Review.

We are not based in UK, we are based in Germany.

I understand that you are frightened Problems will come up, since in the n54 Scene there were a lot of "scammers"...

But if you take part in the Group buy you can pay via PayPal for security.

Concerning credit card transfer i have to check what opportunities we have.

I think when it comes to Tuning parts the first steps are all somehow connected to trust...

When the website is ready, we will also have payment possibility by credit card. But then with usual price and not the intro Price in the GB.

I will check what payment options we can offer when you participate in the group buy and i am sure we will find a way to have protection for you.

I am afraid i don´t understand.

Like i said: We are not the Producer of the clutch, but we sell it in Germany and also want to sell it in US. The Clutch Package mainly is used in eastern europe all over the place. The Producer of the clutch isnt that much involved in all that web stuff, there is a really big market besides all Forums and the Internet.

Also our clutch is wide spread in UK, but there it´s another dealer who sells the clutches besides ourselfes. He also has no Webpage or anything (don´t ask me why or how he can sell that much without a page).

Of course we will be available in different mediums like Instagram, Facebook etc. and we will have an online shop. But we don´t want to get Attention now because we are in the development stage.

Little bit sad, that i want to offer a nice item we tested in our own cars here (i will let someone from Germany chime in here and post a few Pictures and tell something about his experience) and it seems i am accused trying to scam you.

It´s your choice if you want to try the clutch or not. I can just say, i will provide a payment method so you have security.

Let me know if there is anything else i can do.

I think some pictures of it being installed in a car, a video of idle chatter, and perhaps a dyno pull of a car with it installed would go a long way to helping with the marketing.

kayzrx82 you can ask those questions here, maybe it will help other guys.

I will Show you some Pictures later :)

Sure,
On the 1400 nm version I wanted to know what you meant by harder pedal feel. I know that is a subjective question but Im trying to compare it to something else like a spec stage 3 . Is it something that is going to make daily driving in traffic a pain?

Typically twin disk clutches have one of the plates sprung and the other a solid hub. From the pictures I am seeing both plates are solid hubs. Could you provide more details or information on this? I would like to know how engagement is on this with 2 solid hubs. Is it possible to get some videos from inside the car depicting clutch engagement and some videos of the car shifting? Ive had a twin disk clutch before and the engagement made street driving a challenge, although it was not 2 full face plates which I am assuming will make engagement a lot smoother with your kit.

Do you have an estimates on lead time on the kit and lead time on replacement parts?

Is the throw out bearing an upgraded metal one or the bmw plastic version?

Thanks

Do you have a name of the manufacturer of the clutch or more info? I am about to add myself to the group buy, just would like more information before proceeding.

This post is getting less and less credible with each post by op.

It's 2018 there is no way someone designed and uult such an amazing product and didn't document it.

Pixtures, videos? Anything ?

I never drove a spec 3+ myself. But i have a few friends around here, who run Spec. Odd is that one of them has a really stock like pedal and the other one a really hard pedal... The 1.400NM has a quite hard pedal feel, hard to describe how it feels with words. What Setup do you run in your car? Maybe for daily driving the 1000NM Version would be the better one for you. This one is 100% daily friendly.

Both clutches are solid! Engagement is really really nice, because of two organic discs. It feels like it is almost impossible to stall. Engagement is good in both Versions the 1000NM and the 1.400NM Version, because both use the organic discs.
We decided to use solid clutch discs, because of longevity. The Sprung discs all broke during heavy and Long usage. Also sprung discs doesn´t really make a difference when used in Organic discs, because they already have a smooth move off.

What discs did your Prior twin disc had? Our main feature why the clutch is so streetfriendly are the two organic discs!

All parts are ready to deliver, same with replacement parts. Although like i told, it´s better and cheaper if you want to have new discs to send them back to us. Delivery from here to US should take a week i think- tbh i don´t have experience with shipping to USA yet. But i am sure we will get you a good shipping rate with a short delivery time!

The Throw out Bearing is OEM BMW Version. Please Google for opinions on the metal throw out bearings from spec and other clutches- you won´t find a lot of good Reviews. The stock bearing work´s really well!

All in all our Approach is it to use as much as "OEM Style" Parts as possible, because the OEM Clutches in most of the cars are really designed for working for a Long time with stock power. We just improve all things so that the clutch can handle more power but still drives nice and will function for a Long time.

I will try to do a Video of my car. also i attached a few Pictures of different installs etc.

If you look carful you will notice, that the shaft style of the discs are different. We changed the design, because the design on the first photos is really hard to get and with that design the clutch would be much more expensive. There is no difference in function or anything else!

I´m one of the German twin disk drivers and registered to frontsides request.

I only can stand up to frontsides description and the behaviour of the setup. I´m dayling it in my e91.The engagement works like a charm and it holds on pretty strong. Even the wife can park it without stalling on the second try :)

OEM disc with DMFW started slipping at Stage 2 in my car. I´m going bigger turbos and have doubts that i will run in any problems with this setup!

Frontside is a known member of the german N54 scene and a Mod in our biggest N54 based community!
Go for it, you won´t regret!

If you've not sold in the USA, and having some issues establishing credibility (don't assume people are saying you are not credible - rather they can't establish credibility), then you might consider sending one of these clutches to someone in the USA community who can then vouch for your product. Or, you can establish a vendor relationship with someone in the USA with a reputation, who can then resell your clutch for you.

Either way, just trying to offer some ideas to get you going in the USA. Good luck!

The prior setup had a ceramic and an organic disk. They offered full ceramic (not recommended for street use) .
What payment options are you accepting. I would prefer to use PayPal or a credit card for protection. Do you have a time frame for when your site will be up? Appreciate the photos.
