M Dynamic Mode is just presets for all your M settings if I am remembering that correctly.

See, I said this might have been a possibility. Do you have a heated steering wheel?

well my E87 has been converted to N54 6HP21 running gear, donor vehicle was 03/09 335i and had no heated steering
then switched to DCT, ZF couldnt handle 590whp+

So youve completed the conversion ? What final drive do you have and do you have any issues with shifts beyond third gear being affected ? Ie Does the engine rpm float around and stabilise slowly after shifting 3rd to 4th gear ?
running a 2.56 ratio? Yes, mine was floating from 3rd-4th 4th-5th.. after realizing that the M3 DCT flash requires a 3.15 ratio what dyezak said...
im in the process having my M3 rear end fitted this week and hopefully for the best

I guess I should have clarified adjustable LC. I personally don’t have a need for it. I don’t race or track. I just want to be able to adjust how aggressive I want the transmission to shift for those days I’m feeling sporty. My understanding is that I need just the driveogic capability.

once i fit my M3 rear end and if that 80ms gear change works... then i encourage you to do it

I had a hunch you might be Aussie the North American market didn’t get DCTs until later than 09 - Feel free to share the details of your conversion. It sounds like a fair bit of work has been put in.

M-Mode is the presets for all your settings.

M Dynamic Mode is one of those settings (MDM). This is a function of the DSC to allow hooligan behavior but to keep you from totally tossing it off the road.

So far she's making 438kw 1100NM at 27psi, if the GTS flash works properly im going towards the 35psi

Thats 'ok' i spose. :tonguewink: In all seriousness that is a weapon!

The most impressive part is that its an e87 ...should never ask this but..... what does she weigh? Any timed runs ?

Nice!!
Are These OEM Fenders? They look so wide.

Man i would also like to do an DCT Conversion... But here in Germany there is no one who can do it :-(.

standard fenders , probably because of the angle of the photo,
What do you mean no one can do it in Germany ?! you guys invented BMW lol someone definitely should be able to do it

@dyezak, have you came across this diff 33107590914 3.15 ratio out of a X5 E70 LCI VO $233 (bigger pumpkin) ? apparently it is a 215 type which is same as the DCT diff housing, and the crown ring is bolt version, i wonder if we can screw on this ring onto our Diff...

I have not come across that diff. But really, you could use a standard e90 3.08 as the difference between it and the M3 3.15 is negligable.

On the topic of the adjustable LC it is reasonable to conclude that different cars have different SZL's....and all you need is the correct message sent out from the CC stalk. Not shocking that your factory SZL worked for adjustable LC.

We should find that part number then right? Because that eliminates the M3 DSC marriage.
