How long did your clutch last?

Not much information on the forums about when people's clutch last. I know it depends on usage and driver but I just want to get an idea. Mainly more curious about aftermarket clutchs.

I'll start
Spec stage 3+ with SMFW. Previous owner installed around 45,000km. I'm currently st 72,000km and just noticed some slippage in 6th. Only dragged twice and tracked one this year.

130K and counting on the stock clutch; car's never been tuned or modded.

im on stock clutch still with FBO with no slippage.

my friends 335xi had 30k on his spec stage 4 when it locked up from the spring on the pressure plate breaking off. hes currently seeing if spec will do anything for him but then again he got 30k miles on a stage 4 lol

Damn that's shitty =\. Mine has less than that but I have no clue how previous owner drove. I'm starting to think it was from the drag launches but it's sucks to think that because these clutches are suppose to hold the power.

Not to bash on a thread, but these types of anecdotal threads are almost pointless. I can take a stock car, and throw slicks on it, and beat the living shit out of it and kill the clutch in a matter of weeks. I can do the same kill routine by giving the car to a 16y old kid that doesn't know how to drive a standard and letting them learn.

But I can take a full FBO car on e85, and drive it properly with no launches, no clutch slippage, and make it last for 100,000mi.

And 30k on a spec stage 4...not shocking or concerning.

I didn't find this thread pointless at all. It just needs some more clarification other than just raw mileage on clutch. From now one. everyone should say mileage, power, driving style, etc... Here is my clutch with clarification

Clutch type: stock OEM clutch
Power Levels: 380 WHP / 421 WTQ (Dyno proven. 93 octane only FBO set up)
Lifespan: -96K miles at stock power levels. + 6K miles FBO
Driving characteristics: No launches, burnouts, clutch kicks, etc.. Only highway rolls. most rolls are eased into also.
Slippage: none, holds all the power / 18 PSI in 6th gear No problem.
