Hi, i am new at flash tune, and need your help guys,

So, my hybrid turbo hot impeller side melted.
I am FBO, wmi, using the jb4 BEF, the problem is the afr map was targeting 13.5 afr... I think that contributed to high EGT.. I was shifting at 5800 rpm to achieve max turbo pressure.(100% wgdc all the time.)(23 psi max to 18@5800)
Lowering it to 12.1 afr Will signicantly bring EGT down?
Should i limit wgdc to 85%? Will this help?
Our gas is really crap 86 octanes

The turbo use stock manifold with ps2 turbo dimensions.

13.5 AFR seems right for an Ethanol mix. Adjust your Fuel Maps (Bank 1 & 2) down as Omar suggests. Log your temps before and after.

This is what I've been running with an E20 ish mix of Ethanol.

The JB4 BEF for Pump values are okay and not 13.5 unless you are looking around 3000 rpm.

Even stock shouldnt run 86 octane I think u need e85 or meth in your life if that Is all you can get for fuel

I might be way off be it seems op is talking about the Brazilian “gasolina comum” in which case op is referring to different octane measuring units. Comum in Brazil is 87 IAD / 91 RON. It’s comparable to what’s referred to 91 octanes in the states but it’s E27.

I might be way off be it seems op is talking about the Brazilian “gasolina comum” in which case op is referring to different octane measuring units. Comum in Brazil is 87 IAD / 91 RON. It’s comparable to what’s referred to 91 octanes in the states but it’s E27.

Awesome info cause I knew some confusion had to be taking place and that is much better so a acn 91 would be safe map to start with for him than I would think
