6AT jumping out of gear strange codes

Edit: just took the car for a spin nothing crazy no wot or anything, logged my voltage on KL15 with protool and noticed that I get Voltage fluctuations! While driving/idling it goes as low as 12.4V
So Voltage fluctuation from 12.4-13.8V car

Edit: checked voltage with multimeter (battery, under the hood terminals and alternator) all 14.4v at idle with all accessories on. Car off 12.6V

Edit: while checking the voltage at idle I gave it a little throttle (tiny bit) kept it there but rpms kept climbing to almost 5k (video is attached)

Edit: still have the feeling this might be Voltage related, not 100% sure if that’s true or not but that’s my gut feeling. I Unplugged the IBS sensor at the battery completely so it’s literally just a ground cable at this point,
Still not seeing 14V not with MHD and not in the hidden Menu 13.8-13.2 is where I’m at no matter what!
Came home from work pulled codes and got bunch of them picture is attached I wasn’t able to regenerate those codes also first time all those codes popped up since all this is going

2009 e92 N54 AT 6266 ST stock at with xhp s3
Since quite a while I have a strange issues going on.
A few month back (April or May) I installed my ST everything worked out well car ran fine on 14psi WG pressure then we started tuning
Got to about 19 psi and suddenly my transmission won’t stay in Gear/Mode example: DTC off M3 then wot and as soon load increases it will jump into either D6/S6 or D5/S5 usually nothing else happens also don’t get any codes (not in MHD and also no codes with xhp) and can just shift as nothing happened and keep on driving. But sometimes (same example as above) and transmission goes into safe/limp mode and stuck in 3rd til I turn the car off and on and everything works fine! That’s when I get codes please see picture!
I thought well time to rebuild my transmission so I did with PD clutches and bushings and a rebuild valve body I mean rebuild not just a sonnax zip kit!!! Installed the transmission did the relearn process etc. everything seemed to be fine and we kept on going now we are at 21psi but the one day same shit happens again car won’t stay in gear/mode! Then next day car drives and pulls fine for weeks and suddenly same shit again! It’s coming and going!
What I did so far! Changed our entire engine and transmission harness but not injector harness, replaced ground strap,replaced battery checked mechatronic sleeve connector to make sure it’s not leaking and plug sits flush 3mm from housing to plug as the ZF manual states, and as I said earlier it’s pretty much a brand new transmission! Sometimes it works fine then this shit happens and the next minute it pulls fine again! Please help I’m lost at this point!

What are your temps do you have cooler etc and what fluid you running? Try getting a pro tools or testo log so have internal sensors like shaft speed etc also please post your adaptation values line clutch times etc can use xhp or inpa

Yes I do have a setrab 25row cooler using Pentosin ATF 1 temps are around 170 F
I do have protools will log shaft speed etc.

You know if running reduced l2t tables and try disabling linear throttle as trans goes off pedal position not off throttle. Just want verify it happens in manual mode cuae video was on d but u said m3 so want make sure and you have rev limit set high enough so wont shift automatically also disable kickdown and turn off custom shift points temporarily and any launch control or torque limit per gear .

I know you prob know all this but just trying to eliminate variable I think me and matreya have had every prob with pd trans between the two of us lmao. I'm actually changing solenoids again and mech sleeves this weekend when I do my tranny cooler upgrade

Thanks guys i really really appreciate the infos! It happens in any mode D,S or M doesn’t matter! Happens in any gear well haven’t tried 1st yet! None of those MHD option is selected all I have selected is coil cut on misfire and disabled kickdown! Also don’t have any custom shift points etc just a plain xhp s3 flash! Tried to google those codes not much coming up and everything you can find I already read I promise! I like troubleshooting not looking for help often but this one is getting the best out of me! My head is smoking from reading! It can be anything literally from internals of the tranny to the dme to dsc wheel speed sensor communication los etc! I tried already a few things as i mentioned in the op! Next would be trying a different DME but now we talking about spending $$$ to troubleshoot and just swapping parts ain’t the right way to troubleshoot! Again guys I really appreciate any info THANK YOU! My head is spinning is it electric is it a module wiring or that damn transmission worn out again in 4 month with only a few pulls on max 21 psi?!?

One guy installed PR coils and got the same codes/issue he took them off and everything went back to normal! I even tried that even after I already run PR coils for 2 years, of course didn’t do anything for me! So even a bad ground overloading a circuit would do it! But where to start i need to find a way to narrow it down without buying random parts
And also checked fluid level this past weekend which was fine!

Just to be sure, when you upgraded the PD clutch packs... you DID also upgrade the PD bushings correct? If not, that is probably your issue.

Well actually I am ordering a dct shifter retro so I can send you my stock egs if you want buy I am thinking you should check pins on mech connector and just reseat all those connections. Obviously if was the internal part on valvebody you wouldnt be able to shift out of park so its def electrical. I know this sounds dumb but how's your battery and voltage.

yes everything is replaced inside the transmission PR bushings oem gaskets & o-rings PD clutches VB professionally rebuild as well as the TC!

Oh no not dumb at all!!! Around 13.3-13.8 v while driving

The fact that its reading those codes I think means it isnt hard parts and its def a lose ground and or bad connection could i highly doubt it's the dme either.
I agree but the thing is I already changed out the transmission harness issue still present
Original transmission was doing the same and now this one as well! 2 different mechatronics and VB’s!

yes everything is replaced inside the transmission PR bushings oem gaskets & o-rings PD clutches VB professionally rebuild as well as the TC!

Did you personally witness the build and verify that all installation was absolutely correct to specs and will proper tools. Just a tiny bit off with the bushings will mess you up and if you don't have the clutch discs properly measured and over fill the packs due to extra discs...you will be sorry also.

Also keep in mind 80% off the time I don’t even get any codes and it’s just popping out of gear! But when I do get the codes is when I lose communication to the transmission that’s when I have to restart the car in order to communicate with the tranny and delete the codes!

Yes I had a ZF tech build it to ZF specs!

And the old transmission has the exact same issue! With many many more miles and abuse miles on it that’s why I thought it’s time for a rebuild but 2 weeks in and this shit started again with the fresh rebuild transmission! Not saying it couldn’t be messed up but less likely at this mom I would think!

Well 2 weeks without rules out dme. Do you have any custom coding or vo changes? So the only things that werent changed were harness and electronics. I would clear those codes and try to see if moving shifter or using a paddle or potholes trigger so can try get an idea what triggers. It's actually really good that protocol found code. My next step would also be email zf those codes. Or those Australian guys that did the dct and 6hp28 swaps as they may have ran into those codes and would know what module it's from.
