335is best way to launch DCT at the track? First track day did 130mph!!

Hey guys, I took my 335is with the dct first time at the track! How are guys launching these cars The car does not allow for you to build RPM/boost by holding the brake and gas with traction all the way off. Zero power resulting in a 2.8 sixty foot lol.

I know the launch control at 5k option is there but also seems to high and traction is till particularly on. You cant do it with it off.

can still do 135is flash for 3500 launch. Seems like maybe the best option but still traction is still on sport mode and will cut power rather aggressively not sure if doc kit will cause it to freak out with all the power.

what is the best option launch at the track?

I still ran 130MPH 12.6 seconds with 2.8 sixty foot

Thats a high 10sec pass if you canget it to launch correctly with dct.

In the DCT section we are retrofitting the adjustable launch from the M3 which also has the added advantage of DTC off. You can tune the launch rpm area of your map to also build boost(not ideal as it’ll make that part of your map undrivable) and that’s for track cars only.

that would be awesome if we can tune RPM launch with DTC off. I found the thread and added my name to the list.
Look at the log, If your tires are loosing traction will the DCT shift to the next gear byitself even in M mode? When I shifted to second it felt like the car was maybe wheel hopping and it was trying to switch to 2 and gave up and went to 3rd? never experienced this before. So the run was basically without 2nd gear. Do you know what happened? Also most times the car feels like it blimps for a split second after gear changes you can see the bump in the RPM. Is this the clutch slipping? I only had my doc kit for a couple weeks not sure how much power stock clutch packs can handle. It was overboosting pretty bad after gear changes and hitting the saftey. i sent some logs to wedge for him to see if he can help with that.

Best way I have found so far is just to ease into throttle. When I had stock turbos in I ran a 12 on street tires.
Any other way gave me slow 0-60.

yeah I have no torque with the single down low. So I floor it and have no traction issues at all. But can’t break boost or anything cause dct won’t let me

If you can flash it to the 135 and get the 3500 launches, and have your tuner limit boost to gear you can have it set low for 1 second and third if you need it.

No idea but some guys on the WhatsApp group have a beta. Although he said it's Manual Trans only at the moment

The update will be all but the launch control he said was manual only at the moment. The changes log doesn't mention that tho.

Hmmm. I’m in the Beta group.... Didn’t notice it in the flash time options
